Abstract
Agricultural farming has been around for many years and it consumes a lot of space to build it. However it is important that farming increases (RUAF. 2014, January 22) as crops produced are organic and necessary for human consumption. Therefore urban farming is important to increase the space. There also many benefits of urban farming (Sidewalk , S. 2014, January 22) it uses of resources in cities that would otherwise go to waste.  Gardens can be built in an empty lots, on top of buildings, on steep slopes and river banks. Waste water can also be used to water the crops. So, we decided to build an automatic compact urban farming box to make urban farming more efficient as we can stack the boxes which saves more land.
